What classifies a shoe fetish?

I was cleaning Carter's room this weekended and had all of his shoes in a pile on the floor.  When it hit me....What one year old, little boy, needs this many pair of shoes?  (and he is getting more for Christmas!)

Since I took a picture of all of Carter's, McKenzie wanted me to take one of hers too.  She has several also, but I can justify that a little better.

When I showed Tim the pictures of the kids shoes, his comment was, "and do you wonder where they get it?" as he pointed to my closet.

Tim told me I could not take a picture of his shoes but let me assure you, he has his share too.

Happy Birthday, Berkeley

Morgan's little girl celebrated her 1st birthday this past weekend.  It is hard to believe just a year ago I was visiting her in the hospital.  You can view that post here.  Berkeley had a Strawberry Shortcake party with lots of food, Diana cake:-), and games for the kids.

You guessed it...McKenzie and Dalton teamed up

relaxing in her new chair

Carter had to check out all of the new toys.

Fun at Nana's

McKenzie went to Nana and Bruce's a few weeks ago for the weekend.  When we asked McKenzie what all they did, she got really exasperated and said, "oh we did to much for me to tell you".  I do know that Nana and McKenzie had a little time to get pampered, with manicures.  McKenzie's nails were so cool when they were done.  On Saturday Nana picked up McKenzie's Cousins, Jayden and Isabelle.  The girls had a great time playing at Nana's and they also went to a puppet show together.  I can only imagine how much giggling went on while they were all together.

the girls have so much fun playing together
(I am still not sure why Nana didn't pose with the girls in this picture) :-)

Nana and the girls
Such great memories for all 4 girls.  McKenzie is already talking about her next trip to Nana's.

Trick or Treat

McKenzie and Carter had a great time trick or treating.  We met up with Megan, Sherri, Dalton, Morgan, Chris and Berkeley.  Morgan made my kids Halloween cupcakes, we went over there for cupcakes and then went to a few houses with them.  After the kids had there baskets full, we came home for McKenzie to hand out candy here.  McKenzie loved it when she opened the door and it was a friend from school or church.

Carter taking care of Berkeley.  She dropped her binky and he picked it up for her.  They are so sweet together.
