My daddy hates MIZ's!!!!

Saturday afternoon we were invited to watch the MU Women's basketball game.  Our good friend Sherri won a pizza party in one of the suites.  We had a great time hanging out with everyone and watching the game.

When we first got to the game, we saw Truman.  McKenzie walked up to him and said, "My daddy hates MIZ's".   Truman was so shocked, he just shook his head.  I could not help but laugh.

Saturday morning, before the game, I went to work for a few hours.  While I was gone, daddy caught Carter doing a little cleaning. :-)

Cabin fever ???

This has been a whirlwind weekend.  To rap up the weekend, The kids and I went to church Sunday morning, then to Grandma Lou's for lunch.  After lunch I snuck away for a few hours to help Erin, a girl from work, celebrate the arrival of her new baby at her baby shower.

This morning Shyla, ran her first 1/2 marathon.  She got to run through the Disney parks.  I was so excited this morning when I got her text message letting me know she was done and she felt great during the race.  Congrats Shyla!  I can't wait to see your princess medal.

When I grow up....

.............I want to be just like Uncle John.

Carter found Uncle John's boots and tried to put them on.  They were to tall, so I picked him up and put him down into them.  Carter stood there forever, he loved having them on.

Where does the time go?

Valentine party
McKenzie's class had a Valentine party, two weeks ago.  The party was a lot of fun.  The kids played a few games, traded valentines and ate festive snacks.

Silas' happy hour
Silas is one of my good friends from Fire Claims.  He has received a new position in SIU (still with State Farm).  We all wanted to help him celebrate and wish him the best.

Girls Weekend + Carter!
Every year we have girls weekend at Shelly's.  It is a great time for us to relax, shop and eat way to much.  Shelly is quite a cook and entertainer.

Aunt Shelly and Keke making pizzas

Keke, our little fish, had a great time at the pool.

Carter loved the water.  Don't tell him he can't swim, he is convinced he can.

While we were at Shelly's, Joe treated the girls (& Carter) to dinner one night.

No more snow, PLEASE!!!

When your snowed in for two days, with two very busy kids, what do you do to pass the time?  We played card games, danced, cooked, played with their toys, cleaned house, laundry, watched movies,  and of course shoveled ATON of snow.

Watching it snow

It was to cold to take the kids outside, so I brought the snow inside.

Playing in the snow.

McKenzie loved the snow
