Christmas at Nana and Bruce's

We celebrated Christmas at Cathy and Bruce's the weekend before Christmas.  We all came in Friday night and stayed until Sunday.  The weekend was filled with lots of good converstation, amazing food and lots of laughes.

Ann and Milt came by for a visit.  We think the last time we saw them was at our wedding.  We loved getting to spend some time with them.

Branson 2015

Tim's family spends Christmas in Branson every year.  We like to start our trip off with a stop at Bass Pro in Springfield so we head out early to get their in time to look around before we meet everyone at Lambert's for dinner. 

 

Lambert's is such a fun environment. We took a few photos while waiting for the rest of the family to arrive.

My favorite part is all the lights.  I think they are so pretty and Silver Dollar City does it right.

We stayed at SDC a little later than everyone else and Alexis came with us.  It was so much fun getting to spend some time with her.  We just love her. 

She is to cute and soooo funny.

Carter struggled to close one eye when he took pictures with my camera.  But that didn't stop him, he just covered his left eye with his hand.

McKenzie's choir concert

4th grade has brought a lot of opportunites for McKenzie.  Another one is 4th and 5th grade choir.  McKenzie goes to choir practice every Tuesday morning at 7am and has had a couple concerts already. The most fun was getting to sing in the cafe court at the Columbia Mall.

There are 94 kids in choir this year. It is the largest group Mrs. Morrow has ever had and she said they are the best.  They really do sound amazing.

Thanksgiving at Nana and Bruce's

Nana had a fun craft for us all to do.  We made turkeys out of oreos, candy corn, icing, and other candies. 

I think there was some sampling of the candy going on as the turkeys were being constructed.

Scott enjoyed this activity as much as the kids.  I think he made 3 or 4 turkeys trying to make each one better than the last.

Thanksgiving night Nana and Bruce watched our kids while we went to the Plaza lighting.  I had never been so I talked to guys into going with me.
