The big 4!

Carter was so excited to get a "shoot gun" for his birthday.  I think Grandad was as excited to give it to Carter as Carter was to get it.

(I love, love, love this photo of Carter and Daddy)

He was so proud when he hit the target.

McKenzie got a gun when she turned 4 also, she had to get it out and shoot off Mom and Dad's back deck.

McKenzie and Carter with their guns.

McKenzie also wanted to shoot the Walter P22.

Carter wants to do everything his big sister does.

The big boys got out a few of their toys also.

December was so busy, we didn't have time to do much for Carter's birthday this year.  I did got him a Scooby Doo cake and promised I would do better next year.
(I am not winning mother of the year this year) :-)

All better now

Carter had hernia surgery, December 19th.

A little daddy time.

Momma's boy

Carter was down about 24 hours and within 2 to 3 days he was back to 100% all boy.
If you look close you will see Carter took his stuff dog named Bentley.  He is named after Uncle Jason's dog Bentley.

Christmas overview

Christmas season is so busy.  I have not had time to update my blog with all the fun times we have had over the past month.  This is my best attempt to cover it all.

This year we went to the lighted tractor parade.  It was cold but it is such a fun time.   Carter had the best seat for the parade.

A few of the floats from the parade.  It is always amazing how much work these guys put into their lights and tractors.

Tim's Grandparents take the whole family to Branson every Christmas.  This is the house we stayed in this year.  It was beautiful.

On our way to Branson we stopped for dinner at Lambert's.   We were all looking very cute this year in our ugly Christmas sweaters.

McKenzie loves getting to spend time with her cousins Jayden and Isabelle.

And Carter loves spending time with Brodie (and Uncle Scott)

While we were in Branson we ate very well.  Everyone working in the kitchen getting ready for lunch.

A few of the kids loving on Uncle Pete.

Carter showing his true personality.

Christmas at Mom and Dad's is always a fun and relaxing weekend.

Shelly and Henry.  He is growing so fast.

I have been wanting an apron for awhile, Mom had one made for each of us.

Carter was excited to get a new tablet

Carter's Christmas list consisted of: a yellow monster truck and new underwear.
He was not thrilled when he actually got underwear.
