Tim and I took the kids to see Paddington Bear over the weekend. We don't often go see movies in the theater but it was a fun afternoon and a super cute movie.

PJ night
Last night Carter and I were the only ones home. Carter asked if we could have a PJ and popcorn night, so I came home worked out and showered to get that out of the way. After I had wet hair, no makeup and my PJs on...He informs me he wanted us to go out and eat in our PJs. It took some convincing but I talked him into eating at home. We then made popcorn and watched Planes Fire and Rescue in the dark, just like a real theater. He thought he was big stuff.

25th Anniversary
Loretta, one of the ladies on my team, celebrated her 25th anniversary with State Farm. Loretta told me she accepted a position with State Farm 25 years ago to pay off her car. She had planned to quit as soon as it was paid off but 25 years later she is looking at retirement rather than quitting.
I have 5 employees in the Lee's Summit office and 5 in Columbia. The ladies below are my team in Lee's Summit.

Visit with Arlin
I grew up going to Arlin and Tillie's every day while Mom and Dad worked. I have some of my best childhood memories from their house and still love getting to go visit. Over Christmas and New Years Nancy and her husband Ted were in from Colorado so I made a special point to stop by to see them. She is like a sister to me.
He is to cute and boy is he ornery:)
A little more Christmas
Last but not least....We celebrated Christmas at Mom and Dad's the last weekend in December. Shelly, Joe and Henry were in town for the entire weekend so we got to spend a lot of time with them. The kids had a great time getting to play with Henry.
The boys playing with their new laser guns.
These two cuties sure have fun playing together.
Playing games
getting in a quick nap.
McKenzie making a new stocking cap for herself.
While we were there, Carter wanted to get out his gun to do a little target shooting.

Christmas - Happy Birthday Jesus
Tim has been home after having shoulder surgery a few weeks prior so I left work an hour early on Christmas eve. We started our evening with remembering the real reason for the season at Christmas Eve services with our church.
My boys
They are to cute
After church we made our annual trip to visit the magic tree.
Then home to decorate cookies for Santa
McKenzie liked hers with lots of sprinkles

and stockings
Santa brought McKenzie new roller skates and she talked Aunt Shelly into bringing her skates this past weekend so they could break them in.
Carter's new skateboard.
I actually surprised Tim this year with his gift (with John's help). It was to big to wrap so he just got to open a picture of it.
Carter hates that I take so many pictures.
Mom, Dad and Grandma Lou came over for lunch on Christmas day. Tim made his beef stew and the kids showed everyone all the fun gifts Santa brought them.
Grandma reading Carter's new book to him.

Grandad and Carter had to check out all the new toys.
