Monster trucks

The first time Carter saw a monster truck he fell in love.  We were able to take him to the monster truck show this year at the Montgomery County Fair.

Carter would not let me take a picture of him with the trucks.  This is the best I could get.

There were 4 trucks, this was by far the best driver.  He could really get his truck up in the air and drive it in a wheelie all the way down the track.

Can you tell, he is having a great time?

That is a full size car and van the truck is driving over.

This one is dark but you can see him driving in a wheelie.

Carter waved at all the trucks as they drove by.

Henry's 2nd birthday

Henry turned 2, July 6th

We helped him celebrate while they were at Mom and Dad's.  He is getting so big and had fun wearing his party hat, eating cake and opening all his gifts.

4th of July weekend, Mom and Dad had everyone to their house to celebrate.

Tim and John caught some catfish.

Mom and Dad's Dog's name is Abby.  Carter didn't like her much when they first got her but he has come along way.  He calls her Obby, Obby, Obby.

Camp out.

Last weekend we camped at mom and Dad's.  We were far enough from the house to feel like we were really roughing it.  We had the lake on one side of us and the woods on the other....but we were close enough to the house to use the restroom.  Whew, that was a must!

Tim and John took the kids fishing.  They were entertained for about 10 minutes and then they were off to do something more exciting.

McKenzie did hang in there long enough to catch one.

One of my most favorite things to do - sit under the stars next to a camp fire.

The kids loved getting to sleep in a tent.  Carter was so wound up it was hard to get him to lay down.  He sang, he bounced on the air mattress, he talked, he told me he didn't like me (after I told him he had to go to bed) and wanted to go sleep in Reiche's tent.

Saturday morning Dad made bacon and eggs over the fire, Mmmmmm.
