We spent the week at the lake over the 4th. We swam in the morning, swam in the afternoon and swam right before bed. The kids could not get enough time in the water.
(warning: photo overload)
McKenzie loved to be thrown into the air and land in the water.

We were going to walk down to the spring but it was 1.5 mile hike each way, in 100+ degree temperature and two little kids, we decided to take the path to see the balancing rock instead. It was only a 1/2 mile each way.
The trail to the the balancing rock.
On our walk we saw where the spring empties into the lake.
The view from our cabin. We spent several hours through out the week setting out on the deck watching the boats go by.
We watched the fireworks over the water....so much fun.
The kids loved the arcade
Even this kid....We lost Tim for a second and this is where we found him.
The kids had a great time fishing but Carter didn't want his fish to get to close.
McKenzie was really getting the hang of fishing.
We went to Caption Ron's for dinner one night. They had a beach front entry into the lake, we had to swim there a little while too before we ate.
Ice Cream always helps beat the heat.
