Last weekend the four of us made a trip to visit Tim's mom and Bruce. It was a full weekend of great conversation, laughs and making memories. Friday night we got there in time for McKenzie, Nana and I to make a quick trip to the park. For dinner, Friday night we had hully gully. One of Tim's childhood favorite meals. Saturday morning we went to the
Kansas City zoo. We loved seeing all the animals. We hated that we missed the sky tram. It is scheduled to open in a few weeks. I guess that means we will have to go back again. :-)

Sunday morning we got up ate breakfast and then went to
Deanna Rose Childrens Farmstead. We had so much fun touring the old one room school house, old bank, ice cream parlor, general store, an Indian encampment, and mining for gold. There was also a pond to fish with cane poles, pony and wagon rides and lots of farm animals to see.
