After Carter's party we went to Texas Roadhouse, with Nana and Bruce, for dinner.

Last night, I checked on Carter and found him sleeping with his head on the floor, his feet in bed and his behind up in the air. 

We put Carter's mattress on the floor for a few months before moving it up on the bed frame to make sure it is safe - I think it will be a bit longer before we lift his bed. 

2 years old!

2 years old?  Is that really possible?  It is amazing how fast the past two years have gone.  Carter has added so much love and personality to our family. 

Last Friday McKenzie and I took Carter for his 2 year check up...he weighed in at 28.8 lbs (60%), his height is 35" (60%) and head circumference 19 3/4" (80%).

We got a little board waiting for the Dr.  To pass the time we read books, had a mini photo shoot and sang/acted out itsy bitsy spider along with Zacchaeus was a wee little man.  

Carter loved Dr Stuebben.  He picked out a sticker just for her and he wanted to give her a hug when she left.

 Carter loves farm animals and tractors, so we are going to help him celebrate with a farm themed birthday party, this weekend.

More Christmas fun

 I almost forgot to show McKenzie's gingerbread house.  Nana gave her a kit to make it.  McKenzie had so much fun constructing and decorating her house.
