Camp MUDD

The kids are spending a few weeks at camp MUDD this summer.  It is a day camp of playing in the woods, climbing trees, swimming, lots of running and organized games.  

 McKenzie went last year but this was Carter's first time.  They come home every night sweaty, tired and NASTY.  I love they get to just be kids and they love the freedom to run and play. 

 On Thursday nights they open camp up to the parents and each age group preforms a skit. Then the kids stay and camp out under the stars.

Mom picked the kids up Friday when camp let out.  Carter was so tired he kept asking if he could go to bed.  I think it was all Reiche could do to get him bathed before he went to sleep. 

Fun at Church

The following Sunday we had church at the park.  It was a beautiful morning. 

The kids got to go up and sing a song from camp during the service.

Rodeo

Tim and I took the kids to a rodeo this summer.  

McKenzie didn't want to go but I think she enjoyed it the most once we got there.

Quality time

This summer Carter went to summer school the month of June.  That month McKenzie spent most of her time at my parents or at camp so Carter had a lot of one on one time.  He got pretty board each evening with sissy gone.  To pass the time we would hit the trails.

Chance joined us a few times.  

The trail is in town but most of it is a serene setting but then you turn a corner and it goes under the highway.  This is Carter's favorite part.  He loves to have the semis drive over his head.
