McKenzie received a leadership award at her school assembly. Her elementary school implements and practices, The 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey. This has become second nature for McKenzie. She is always coming up with a win/win solution when we have a "problem", she tells me to put my listening ears on if I don't hear her, and she told me the other day we need to synergize. We are so proud of how much McKenzie has matured this year.
Stephen Covey's seven habits are:
- be proactive;
- begin with the end in mind;
- put first things first;
- think win/win;
- seek first to understand, then to be understood;
- synergize;
- sharpen the saw.
