At McKenzie's school they try to put the kids in charge of their own learning and that includes conducting their own parent teacher conferences. McKenzie presented her progress showing me different homework pages, tests and writings she had completed since the beginning of the year. Along with her progress, we also reviewed her areas of improvement...you may not believe this, but McKenzie seems to be very out going and needs to work on staying in her seat and not bothering her peers. If that is the worst thing we need to work on, I have to say I am pretty happy with that.
Tim was unable to make it to conferences because he was at school in St Louis but McKenzie was able to present all the information to him when we got home.
